My Own Little Pot O' Gold!

As I was driving into campus this morning I saw a sign for free firewood. I drove past and then immediately thought, "dear Lord what am I doing?!!!" I quickly turned my Jeep around and went back to check it out. The place that had the sign was actually an auto repair shop, but when I talked to the gent inside he explained that a couple of trees fell and so they cut them up and I could have as much of the wood as I wanted. So I filled my Jeep up and took off. Now I know that it is 90 degrees out right now but in the winter that wood will pay off when I am over at Jenny's and we want to build a fire. (yep, always one step ahead...heh.) The reason I was so excited about finding this wood was because I LOVE chopping it. I don't know what it is, but I really enjoy chopping up firewood, and now I can. I have a wood splitting maul that Jenny bought me this winter, but I never used it, so today I will be breaking it in!!! Yahooo...
