Once again I will attempt to write my life down and all the odd occurances. Through it all I hope you can find my twisted sense of humor somewhat...humorous.

Leave me a message in my Guestbook!

I had a full and enjoyable weekend and now it is back to school. Friday Jenny and I went to Borders to hear a jazz band play. (I have a music class that requires that I attend four concerts) Ok, now I know I wasn't the only one to think it was strange that a jazz band was set up right in the middle of the book store between the self help and the cooking section. (I know because Jenny felt the same) The thing that was truely odd was that no one else seemed to think this was out of place. As if you could just put a metal band in the middle of Target and expect people to just shop around them and maybe shake their heads when the band got a little rowdy. Come on. I just don't see any other store being able to pull this off.
Saturday I went over to Jenny's and we watched "Star Wars 'A New Hope'". I thought that I was quite the fan but as it turns out, that was the first time since I was a tike that I had watched the entire thing. It was like watching the movie for the first time. Of course parts have been added since the original had been released but that isn't what I am talking about. Being able to comprehend the dialogue certainly made all the difference. I can't wait until next year when the second "Star Wars" comes out. I wonder if it will draw all the freaks in costume that the "Phantom Menace" did.
Sunday found us at the Seneca Park Zoo where all the animals didn't seem to mind the cold. All the animals except the penguins!! You would think of all the animals they would seem to like it the best, but oh no they were "nesting". The elephants were out for Pete's sake! If someone like them who's natural habitat is in the African plains could come out and say hello, than those penguins should have darn well been out there putting on a show for us to see. But no, they had to "nest". Grrrrrr. At least my favorite animal was out.(the tiger) He didn't seem like he could tear my arms off or anything, quite the opposite actually. He looked as if he wouldn't mind being petted, but Jenny advised against this and so I still have all my digits today to write this down. I wish there was a way that you could domesticate them. Mmmmm...now don't get me wrong I am a dog man myself but there is something about a tiger that just sets it apart from the others (ok other than the stripes!). I don't know though, seeing as I am allergic to my sisters two house cats, it may just be the end of me if I owned a cat that large. The medics would find me drowned in my own phlegm, and I would have hives from head to toe. Hmm..yeah I guess that doesn't paint the nicest mental picture now does it? Anyway, after the zoo we went and saw a production of the play called "The Weir". It seemed to me to be an Irish version of cheers. Very funny but some parts were quite lengthy and some of the actors Irish accents left some to be desired. Overall, I liked it.
