Once again I will attempt to write my life down and all the odd occurances. Through it all I hope you can find my twisted sense of humor somewhat...humorous.

Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Yesterday was my 25th birthday. Yep, the big two five. At what point do you say "Ok, this getting older thing is really starting to suck!"? Is it after 30? 40? I can't figure it out. So far I am not at that point, and I am not looking forward to hitting it. I don't know that I ever will though. I think at say 40, I will still love playing with Legos, have the dream of owning a Harley, and still like Spiderman. I think that the way that you feel about yourself (ie. old and pruney, or young and vibrant) is all about the people and toys you surround yourself with. (Sounds somewhat materialistic, I know.) If you surround yourself with old boring farts (old being a relative term) and crappy toys, it rubs off and therefore you become an old fart that smells like crap. On the other hand if you surround yourself with young hearted individuals and great toys, hey look at you, young-vibrant and fancy free! I guess all the people I have been hanging around are the latter of the two, so to those of you who it applies - congradulations you are a young and fun lovin' bunch in my eyes!

Anyway for my birthday, Jenny gave me a "antique" wooden birdcage that I have wanted for a very long time. (My grandparents collect them and even have a few that have canaries in them. Since the first time I saw one I wated one) She then took me out to brunch, for a walk and coffee by the canal, and dinner at a hip "urban oriental cuisine" place called Aja. As if that weren't enough, she also threw me a bowling birthday party last night (friends and party favors included - Spidey themed - God bless her) and I have to say it was a great time. I bowled (though not very well), ate cake, laughed, opened presents, and wore a crown, all in the name of my birthday. Ahhhh, king for a day. Thank you to everyone for coming out and making it such a memorable occasion , and for all the loot to. : )
