This past weekend I bought two new CD's, Gorrilaz and The Rype band. I am really pleased with both of my purchases. I bought the Gorillaz CD because of their excellent video and I like the way they mix up the alternative and rap styles. The Rype band is a local band from right here in Roch-cha-cha. I have seen them twice now and even though they played the SAME set both times, I really enjoy their music. I think alot of it is because the second song mentions doughnuts. I think its some sort of subliminal messaging that was paid for by Krispy Kreme. Yea, yea, they probably told the band, "Sure, we'll pay for production costs if you let our scientists record this subliminal message that will make all the listeners crave doughnuts 24-7!" Well, I'm on to their little scam now and it's time that they gave me a lifetime of free hot original glazed doughnuts for my silence!!
