I finally got to ride my new bike this weekend!!! Sunday afternoon was really a beautiful day so Jenny and I went out for a bike ride. I think if we hadn't gone then she might have killed me by now because I was constantly bugging her about wanting to go out and break in my new bike. The bike trek went well, although it was a bit muddy in parts. There is a great deal of satisfaction that comes from being covered with mud after a bike ride. Man, were our bikes ever trashed after that ride! We had to hose our bikes off at Jenny's because they were so dirty. Mmmm...I must say even though the "breaking in" ride was a little rough my bike handled wonderfully.
Jenny and I also managed to have tea at the elusive Eastman Tea Room. Very tasty. I didn't think that all that minature food could actually fill me up but it did. Jenny and I decided that it is so filling because you take longer to eat it. I think if I would have been alone with that tray I could've devoured everything in .5 seconds, but that wasn't the case, and since Jenny was there I wanted to enjoy it so I took my time with it and enjoyed every tiny bit of it. I would highly recommend going there if you ever find a time that they are open.
